#2 Rhea Ripley wins clean at WWE WrestleMania 37 Night Two
At WrestleMania 37 Night Two, Asuka put her RAW Women’s Championship on the line against Rhea Ripley. It was a nice surprise to see a singles match without including Charlotte Flair or another RAW wrestler in the proceedings. Asuka and Rhea Ripley deserved this opportunity to showcase their impressive talents at WrestleMania on Sunday night in Tampa.
The match between the two was a solid 13-minute encounter. Asuka was in control of a majority of the offense of the match. In particular, the DDT onto the floor looked particularly brutal for Ripley. That is what made the finish a big surprise.

Asuka had connected with a series of kicks and was looking for a few more to end the title match. She missed with a kick, and Ripley countered into the Riptide Slam for the victory. It was rather surprising to see a sudden finisher with no kick-outs, especially on such a big stage.
Rhea Ripley became the second new talent to win their first Women’s Championship during WrestleMania weekend, the first being Bianca Belair. It is refreshing to see WWE use WrestleMania to create two new female stars on this entertaining weekend.
