#2 Al Snow def. The Rock (WWE Monday Night RAW December 20th 1999)
The Rock's string of surprising defeats on Monday Night RAW in 1999 culminated with the former WWE Champion being defeated by Al Snow in a Brahma Bullrope match in the main event of the December 20 episode.
The rules of a Brahma Bullrope match were exactly the same as a traditional bullrope match. Both WWE Superstars were tied together by a bull rope with the only way to win the match by scoring a pinfall or submission on your opponent.
After an early flurry by The Rock, Al Snow managed to get a significant amount of offense in on The Great One. Snow used the rope to his advantage, whipping The Rock and attempting to choke him out. Al Snow even smashed The Rock with the cowbell to the skull for a near fall.
However, The Rock was eventually able to regain control and seemingly had the match won after hitting Al Snow with a Rock Bottom. D-Generation X members The New Age Outlaws then appeared and attempted to interfere in the match.
As The Rock was attempting to hit The People's Elbow on Al Snow, The People's Champion was violently hit in the back with a steel chair by Road Dogg. This led to Billy Gunn hitting The Rock with a Famouser, allowing Al Snow to slowly crawl to the cover and get an upset pinfall victory over The Rock.
