#2. The Miz and John Cena were tag team champions
John Cena is one of The Miz's greatest opponents of all time. The A-Lister has accused Cena of stealing his spotlight on various occasions. But at one point in their careers, he held the Tag team Championships with John Cena.
The incident dates back to February 2011, when Cena and The Miz challenged The Corre (Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel) for their tag team titles. In a shocking turn of events, the A-Lister pinned Justin and won the titles for his team.
However, The Corre invoked their rematch clause and defeated the newly crowned Champs when The Miz laid Cena with a Skull Crushing Finale. Although their alliance didn't last long, the duo was able to carve out their special moment.
#1. Daniel Bryan and The Miz fought side-by-side in 2019.
If there was a bigger rival of The Miz than John Cena, it was Daniel Bryan. Their feud reached its peak in 2016 when The A-Lister humiliated Bryan on an episode of Talking Smack.
After Daniel returned from his retirement in 2018, he revisited his rivalry with The Miz. While the Awesome One was victorious at SummerSlam, Bryan got his redemption at Super Showdown. But just a year later, circumstances forced these two men to patch up their differences and fight together.
During the second half of 2019, both Bryan and Miz were a part of a rivalry with "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt. The Eater of Worlds had tortured both superstars, causing them to team up to overcome this threat.
During an episode of WWE Smackdown, the two stars fought against the villainous duo of King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler. Surprisingly, the two men showed amazing chemistry and even picked up the victory.
The alliance did not go any further as The Miz soon turned heel, while Bryan became more focused on his rivalry with The Fiend.
