#1 The Revolt vs. The Young Bucks
While it's an obvious pick, it's that way for a reason.
Despite everything this article has mentioned thus far, the first thing every member of the wrestling community did when The Revival were allowed to leave Titan Towers was bring up the tweet Dash Wilder sent in late 2018 that simply stated;
Even before this tweet, on The Young Bucks' YouTube show 'Being The Elite', The Revival had been referenced multiple times by the cast and, ever since then, this tag team match has been hyped up to be one of the best ever. Take everything from each previous point that has already been mentioned and combine it together, you then get The Revolt vs. The Young Bucks.
The team that defines cocky, brash, 'new-age' wrestling all about flips, high spots, and the perception of 'little storytelling' versus the throwback team putting a modern spin on an old classic with slow-burn holds, terrifyingly brutal joint manipulation and mat-based offense. It is the match every single wrestling fan wants to see and for good reason. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have a multitude of options ahead of them, including hundreds of teams not mentioned in a plethora of companies. They will have to choose where they go right.
But the entire wrestling world hopes that, sometime soon, they make a visit to AEW to create a piece of wrestling history.
