The New Day are tag champs once again

Now eight-time tag team champions in the WWE, The New Day are just one shy of equalling the all-time record held by The Dudley Boyz. The trio of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods has enthralled fans for the majority of the last decade with a rather consistent gimmick thanks to their popularity.

However, I must admit that The New Day has run its course when it comes to tag team glory. They still put up spectacular matches whenever they enter the ring, but we all know that each of the three Superstars has the caliber to run for singles titles of their own. If KofiMania could catch fire worldwide, there's no doubt that the other two Superstars can win over the crowd too.

In fact, fans have been clamoring for a potential world title run for Big E who's no stranger to the main-event scene, having been the NXT Champion in the past. Perhaps WWE could have the mystery hacker on SmackDown reveal some truths that could result in a potential split of the three. And if the move doesn't pan out, WWE could club them back together instantly, given the chemistry between the three.
