Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzales have been a fierce duo since partnering in NXT.

Dakota Kai's singles career has skyrocketed ever since she acquired the services of Raquel Gonzalez on WWE NXT. Gonzalez has served as an insurance policy for the New Zealand native in recent months on NXT. This has subsequently led to comparisons between the Shawn Michaels and Diesel partnership seen in WWE during the mid-1990s.

Just as how Shawn Michaels and Diesel were WWE Tag Team Champions during the 1990s, many members of the WWE Universe are suggesting that Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez will also hold the tag team gold in the near future.

For many, myself included, having an NXT Tag Team as the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions is a must at some point. With the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions' ability to appear on RAW, Smackdown and NXT, a tag team such as Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez winning the Tag Titles would be a unique way to introduce the NXT duo to the main roster.
