The bludgeon brothers are a former Smackdown Tag team champions!

Luke Harper suffered a knee injury on a dark match at Raw and underwent surgery. His Bludgeon brother Eric Rowan has returned and allied himself with the Planet Champion Daniel Bryan.

Harper is in recovery and could return after WrestleMania 35. That would make the dynamic interesting as Rowan would have to choose between his Wyatt family brethren or his intellectual partner, if Luke Harper refuses to join Bryan's cause.

The break up of the former Smackdown tag team champions could result in a series of matches between Eric Rowan and Luke Harper. The fans could finally rally behind the underrated and underappreciated Harper. We saw glimpses of a push when he became the Intercontinental champion in 2014-2015 and in his number one contender's matches against AJ Styles.

This breakup could create individual superstars without ruining the possibility of a reunion!
