Matt Riddle has been very vocal about wanting to face Goldberg and even Brock Lesnar, to make a name for himself and move up the ranks in the WWE ladder. Whether or not you're a fan of his, Goldberg is one of the all-time greats and anyone who tussles with him invariably has a lot more eyes on him.

Goldberg could come to the ring and challenge someone from the back to come out, but instead of a SmackDown Superstar, the 'original BRO' from NXT could show up from out of the blue and take the fight to the veteran. If you think that this does not seem like much of a contest, just bear in mind that Matt Riddle was an established MMA star.

The two men could definitely have a match at Super ShowDown that ends with Goldberg standing tall and mighty. I don't think that Matt Riddle would go over Goldberg at this point because of how big a draw Goldberg still is, this late in his career.
Be sure to check out Riddle's interview with Sportskeeda's own Gary Cassidy.
