#3 Alter her character
This entry isn't a criticism of Charlotte Flair but is more so an observation of her time in as a WWE Superstar. In order to switch things up for a character that may be floundering or in need of a big change, they often undergo a gimmick change or heel/face turn. Flair and Bayley have done both during their time on the WWE main roster.
The main difference, however, is that Bayley's persona drastically changed when she turned heel last year. She cut her hair, ditched her "Bayley Buddies" and used a new entrance theme. It's easy to do when you don't have a legendary father, but Bayley has been able to try a completely different character from what she initially portrayed in WWE.

Flair, like Randy Orton, has switched sides when the need has arisen. The main difference, however, has been who they target rather than what they say. Both Orton and Flair still have the same promos but target heels if they are faces and vice versa. Nothing drastic has changed in either's presentation but they are acknowledged as face or heel due to whom they are feuding with.
Bayley has had a clear-cut persona as both a face and a heel. The heel character is almost as if she's "grown up" and stopped relying on fan accolades. Instead, she thinks she's a role model for the fans. While Flair is consistently going to be considered the Greatest Female WWE Performer of All Time, she hasn't really altered her character that much. It's likely due to how management wants to handle her but she's still basically the same performer if she's sneak attacking Lynch or getting blindsided by Nia Jax.
