Bayley cashed in on Flair on the same night she claimed the briefcase.

As mentioned on other slides, the main reason why Flair hasn't competed in some of the gimmick matches in WWE is because she is likely the Champion. If she isn't the current RAW or SmackDown Women's Champ, she's probably challenging for the title at one of WWE's gimmick PPVs like Elimination Chamber or MITB.

That is exactly what happened at Money in the Bank last year. WWE had Flair face Becky Lynch for the SmackDown Women's title after the Man won both belts at WM 35. She vowed to defend both belts after winning them at WM 35. Flair would eventually defeat Lynch for the title but she lost it minutes later after Bayley cashed in her MITB briefcase.

It's not to say that Flair hasn't competed for briefcase. WWE has had four MITB matches featuring women. The number increases to five if you count the second one they had after James Elsworth won the briefcase in 2017 for Carmella.

Flair competed in those matches in 2017 and was also among eight women to go for the briefcase in 2018. That year, Bliss won the ladder match and the RAW Women's title on the same night. As already mentioned, Flair didn't compete in the match in 2019 due to challenging Lynch for a title.

She also didn't compete in this year's contest due to being the NXT Women's Champion. Just like eventually winning the WWE Women's Tag Team titles, it's likely a foregone conclusion that the Queen will eventually hoist a briefcase before she calls it a career. It would be an easy way to add another reign to her resume.
