#1. DIY on the main roster
This may be the biggest thing from WWE last year that fans would blank on. Yes, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano had a spell on RAW and SmackDown. It was extremely short-lived, but it happened.
At a time when Johnny Gargano was playing the heel and teaming up with Ciampa before their proposed feud-ender, Vince McMahon decided to spice things up and call four of NXT's best wrestlers to the main roster.
Aleister Black and Ricochet joined the former tag team partners on RAW and SmackDown, with DIY reuniting as babyfaces. Gargano and Ciampa had matches against The Revival and The Bar before Ciampa's neck injury unceremoniously halted their time on the main roster.
Given how their story would have likely played out on NXT, one has to wonder what plans WWE had in store for Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, had Ciampa not gotten hurt.
Black and Ricochet eventually teamed for a while, but it would be interesting to know what would have happened to Gargano and Ciampa on the main roster, after they resumed their feud on the Black and Yellow brand.
Anyway, it is wild to think that two of Full Sail's resident Superstars actually moved to the brighter lights, even if for a short time.
