Before Goldberg made his grand return to Monday Night RAW last week, it was the returning Keith Lee who took on WWE Champion Bobby Lashley. Keith Lee was away from WWE television for several months before returning last week on RAW. Unfortunately, his first match back ended with him losing to the WWE Champion.
Fans were quick to spot that what happened on RAW last night was similar to the segment where Goldberg returned earlier this year. Goldberg challenged then WWE Champion Drew McIntyre for his title at Royal Rumble. At that time also, Goldberg returned after Keith Lee lost his WWE Championship match to McIntyre. Many fans even joked about this becoming a trend.
If that indeed is the case, it would be a great idea to have a feud between Keith Lee and Goldberg. If Goldberg wins the WWE Championship at SummerSlam, it's highly unlikely he'll hold it for a long time. Keith Lee being the one to dethrone Goldberg would be exactly the kind of surprise fans want to see.
#1. Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley in a non-title match
Before Goldberg made his return to RAW and challenged Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship, there was speculation of Brock Lesnar being the one in that role. Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar is a dream match that fans have wanted to see for a long time.
The Beast Incarnate is rumored to return to WWE at a later stage this year. If Lashley loses the WWE title to Goldberg at SummerSlam, we could see him face Brock Lesnar in a non-title match sometime later this year. It wouldn't really be a bad idea as a match of the caliber of this doesn't necessarily need a title to be involved.
