#3 The Boss n Hug Connection uplift the status of the Women's Tag Team Championships
Sasha Banks and Bayley mentioned on Friday Night SmackDown that it was due to them that the Women's Tag Team Championships arrived in WWE. While they have praised themselves on-screen numerous times being heels, this above statement is entirely true. Because of the effort that was put in by these two, WWE finally introduced a Championship for Women Tag Teams last year.
In fact, the Boss n Hug connection were the inaugural Champions as well, defeating six other teams at last year's Elimination Chamber PPV to win the titles.
They promised to be fighting Champions and defend the titles against every team on RAW, SmackDown, and even NXT. They did make a few appearances on the black and gold brand, but just when their title reign was starting to become solid, they lost it at WrestleMania 35 to the IIconics.
Since then, teams like Alexa Bliss-Nikki Cross, Asuka-Kairi Sane won the titles but were unable to uplift the status of the Championship. With a second reign with the Tag Titles, Sasha Banks and Bayley can pick up from where they left it last year and make it "THE" Championship in WWE.
