This was something that was speculated during their previous run as well. As mentioned earlier, Sasha Banks and Bayley were the inaugural WWE Women's Tag Team Champions but went on to lose the titles at WrestleMania 35 to the IIconics.

Many fans expected one of them to turn on the other after the incident, but that didn't happen as Sasha Banks had a long hiatus from the company after the Show of Shows last year.

If they manage to win the titles again from Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, we could finally see the payoff that we didn't last year. We've previously seen how tag teams can split up because of jealousy and misunderstanding, and if the recent segments are any hint, Sasha Banks often looks fed up with Bayley's tantrums.

WWE could book them to have a decent run with the Tag Team Champioships only for them to lose it due to some misunderstanding in the ring. Bayley can then blame Sasha for her incompetence leading to the Legit Boss taking her out in frustration. All this would ultimately lead to a full-blown rivalry between the two best friends - something the fans can't wait to witness yet again!
