Charlotte Flair's WWE career has been indelibly linked to the MITB briefcase. She competed in the first two matches but didn't win. However, The Queen has fallen victim to the briefcase on three occasions. First, she was cashed in on by the briefcase's inaugural winner, Carmella, in 2018.

During the 2019 MITB event, Flair competed for and won the SmackDown Women's title from Becky Lynch. Bayley won that year's ladder match and cashed in immediately following the match.
The Queen didn't compete at the 2020 event held at WWE HQ. She did, however, win the RAW Women's title from Rhea Ripley at the 2021 MITB event.
Rather than having a cash-in on the same night, 2021 winner Nikki A.S.H. cashed in on Flair a day later. It protects the Champions as they are usually left vulnerable before cash-ins.
Flair is usually a Champion during the MITB season, so she hasn't been in the match since its inception. She is pushed as the top female Superstar of all time, so she must win a briefcase in the future.
