Soon after UFC 100 was done and dusted with, Brock Lesnar realized that his heath was getting worse and worse with each passing day. He knew at that point that he needed to take care of his body and take some much-needed rest for a while. He went to a local doctor and found out that he had mononucleosis. What happened soon after must be giving chills to Brock Lesnar to this day.

Not long after we got to western Manitoba, I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst pain I have ever experienced. I never felt like that before. I was sweating buckets, just drenching the sheets, and I was delirious. I didn’t even know where I was. I remember seeing Rena looking at me, and then I fell back asleep.
Brock Lesnar went through excruciating pain over the next few days
Brock Lesnar was immediately taken to a hospital, where the CT machine was broken and the staff kept stalling until Lesnar had had enough. Both Brock Lesnar and Sable realized that they quickly needed to go to a "real hospital". Sable wheeled Lesnar out of the facility and it was a painful four-hour drive to a hospital in Bismarck, North Dakota. It took a long time, but Lesnar finally got well and was grateful towards Sable and his family for their support during those trying times.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
