Around the time of WrestleMania 36, it was announced that WrestleMania 37 was set to take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. This would have been the seventh time that WrestleMania has taken place in California. It was planned to be dubbed "WrestleMania 37: Hollywood".

However, it was revealed in October that the event was going to move to the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The venue is where WrestleMania 36 was originally due to take place before being relocated to the WWE Performance Center, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Recently, the governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis has started to allow fans at sporting events, which could have influenced WWE's decision to change locations.

Currently, rival promotion AEW, which is based in Jacksonville, is running shows with a reduced capacity. Miami sports teams are also allowing smaller numbers of fans to attend events. The situation is completely different in Calfornia, making the likelihood of having fans in attendance slim.

WrestleMania 37 is still roughly five months away though. The location could still change within the timeframe, depending on the later situation regarding COVID-19.
