WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon is crucial to the success of any WWE Superstar.

During his Sportskeeda interview, Riddle revealed that the WWE chairman wasn't initially sold on Riddle as a major star on the main roster. The former United States Champion stated that he had to explain his character to the WWE Chairman:

"Like I said before, When I first met Vince, he thought I was a goof and he didn't really get it. And I had to explain like 'I'm a goof but like I can kick ass and I'm also a goof you know?"
