#3. John Cena and Shay Shariatzadeh married in a secret ceremony

John Cena and Shay Shariatzadeh started dating in early 2019. Nearly a year later, the 30-year-old wore a diamond on her ring finger at the "Dolittle" premiere, which sparked engagement rumors. The couple, however, never confirmed or denied their engagement.

In early October 2020, the 16-time World Champion posted a few tweets about love, happiness, and marriage.

"Love involves constant effort. When you are truly ready to let love in and give to love all it needs to flourish, I feel there is no greater more rewarding connection." he wrote in one of his tweets.

A few days later, Cena and Shariatzadeh married in a secret wedding ceremony in Tampa, Florida. They invited family, friends, and some WWE talent.

After their wedding, a source told People Magazine that Cena and his wife knew they would marry from the get-go, adding that the former WWE Champion was dazzled by Shariatzadeh.

"He is a romantic. The couple knew they would marry, so the [private ceremony] wasn’t a surprise. He just wanted to do it out of the limelight," the source said.

John Cena and Shariatzadeh recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary. The couple still seems very much in love.
