#2. WWE must protect "The Demon" at Extreme Rules
Finn Balor's alter-ego, "The Demon King," will fight Roman Reigns at WWE Extreme Rules for the Universal Championship.
The company has protected the Demon character for a long time. Balor has never been defeated as The Demon on the main roster. Only Samoa Joe has pinned The Demon in WWE NXT.

Surprisingly, WWE wants to put Balor up against Roman Reigns in an extreme rules match he will likely lose. The creative team must look to protect The Demon from picking up a clean loss at the hands of Roman Reigns at all costs.
Even though Reigns is the top superstar, WWE must not compromise Demon King's credibility. The character is one of the few in WWE that has not been overexposed until now.
Therefore, the match must end with some significant interference or illegal tactics to protect Balor and leave the door open for another rematch down the line. Handing Balor a clean loss at Extreme Rules would be a big mistake.
