WWE NXT could have many surprises in store for fans at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. With that in mind, we could end up watching one former NXT Champion make his way back to the Black & Gold brand.

Aleister Black, who’s currently a member of the RAW roster, has been off television for some time now. Reports suggest that Paul Heyman’s removal has caused Black’s stock to fall on the main roster. Black has been in favor of the idea of returning to NXT to become a top performer on the brand again, and we could watch that happen during WarGames.

At the event, The Dutch Destroyer must make his return to the brand and interfere in a match to begin a major rivalry on the brand again. Finn Balor has become a big thing just a year after his return to NXT, and this could favor a Black return.

We could watch Black attack the winner of the match between Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher, or even interfere in the men’s WarGames match. In any case, Black’s return to the brand could help the show improve its ratings even more.
