#2. Johnny Gargano must make quick work of LA Knight on WWE NXT

Samoa Joe won the WWE NXT Championship from Karrion Kross at TakeOver 36. On the episode of NXT that followed, The Samoan Submission Machine hoped to find a challenger for his title.

Several men answered Joe’s call, including LA Knight, but the former Million Dollar Champion was the unlucky one who had to taste Joe’s fists during the segment. Knight and Johnny Gargano also had a backstage altercation on NXT.

The two former champions will lock horns this Tuesday night. WWE must ensure that Gargano comes out on top in this contest. The Rebel Heart is one of the finest workers in the wrestling industry, but he has been caught up in a comical gimmick for several months.

While Gargano has been extremely entertaining, he needs to have a change of character soon. WWE could look to change his gimmick into a serious one again after Candice LeRae recently announced her pregnancy.

The company could look to make Gargano one of the brand's top legitimate stars on the brand and have him go up against Samoa Joe. This progression could start on Tuesday if Gargano defeats Knight in a convincing manner.
