Karrion Kross proved his dominance over the WWE NXT roster by defeating Finn Balor at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. While Kross did not need to prove himself again, Balor wanted a rematch for the NXT Championship.

Last week, The Herald of Doomsday and Balor competed in one of the most intense televised matches in NXT history. Kross was able to defeat The Prince once again to retain his title on Tuesday night.

Before the match, William Regal announced that Kyle O'Reilly, Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne will collide in a Triple Threat Match to determine the No. 1 Contender to the NXT Title.

The match is set to take place this week, and fans can expect all three men to give their best to face Kross at TakeOver: In Your House.

While all three NXT Superstars deserve a shot at the title, WWE must allow Gargano to win the match with some help from Austin Theory. Gargano recently lost the NXT North American Championship and is currently better set for a shot at the NXT title.

Dunne is looking to prove that he is the best technical wrestler in the company, and a loss to Kross will hurt his image. O’Reilly has already gotten a couple of shots at the title and needs to get into another storyline before heading back up.

Keeping all this in mind, WWE needs to give Gargano a shot at Kross since the two men already have a little bit of history with each other.
