#2. Bron Breakker must become the new WWE NXT Champion at New Year’s Evil
Bron Breakker will walk into WWE NXT New Year’s Evil with another chance to win his first major title in the company. He failed to defeat Tommaso Ciampa for the title at NXT Halloween Havoc.
Ciampa hasn’t defended his title much, and his reign hasn’t been as great as his first one. WWE could look to put the title on a newer superstar to keep NXT 2.0 fresh.
With that in mind, WWE must allow Breakker to defeat Ciampa and win the title after a hard-fought contest. Most of NXT’s veterans have left the company, and WWE could look to build some new faces with Breakker at the top.
#1. Paul Heyman must continue his storyline with Roman Reigns on WWE SmackDown
Roman Reigns was set to face Brock Lesnar at WWE Day 1. However, a positive COVID-19 test forced him to sit out the pay-per-view. Their match would have likely helped build the storyline involving Paul Heyman.
Lesnar went on to win the WWE Championship at Day 1. He will likely show up on WWE RAW this week. Meanwhile, Reigns will sit out this week’s show and hopefully make a quick recovery.
WWE must bring out Heyman to continue his storyline with Reigns on this week’s SmackDown. The wise man must use Reigns’ absence from Day 1 as an excuse by The Head of the Table to avoid Lesnar. It could lead to an even more interesting storyline which could culminate at WrestleMania.
