Bobby Fish took on Tyler Rust from Diamond Mine on WWE NXT. Fish recently returned to NXT after a long time away due to an injury. He lost his first match to Pete Dunne after his return, following which he was defeated by Rust last week.

After the match against Rust, Fish was attacked by the rest of Diamond Mine before KUSHIDA came out to make the save. The two superstars cleared the ring before teasing a future match.

KUSHIDA will team up with Fish to take on Diamond Mine’s Roderick Strong and Rust this week. Strong and Fish have a lot of history with each other as they worked together in The Undisputed ERA.

However, KUSHIDA will be in the spotlight during the contest as Diamond Mine seems to be targeting the NXT Cruiserweight Champion. Keeping that in mind, WWE must allow KUSHIDA to pick up the victory by pinning Rust.

After the match, Strong should attack KUSHIDA along with the rest of Diamond Mine to cement his rivalry with the champion. Strong and KUSHIDA could end up having a great rivalry that could lead them to a big match at an upcoming TakeOver event.
