WWE NXT TakeOver: 36 is on the horizon and the brand is looking to build some top matches. One of the biggest matches set for the event will be for the WWE NXT UK Championship. WALTER will defend his title against Ilja Dragunov.

WALTER has held the title for over 850 days, and it looks like not many men in WWE can defeat him. However, Dragunov seems like the perfect man to dethrone The Ring General on NXT UK.

Dragunov is scheduled to appear on this week’s NXT and the brand should look to make his appearance eventful. The Unbesiegbar should come out to address the NXT Universe and build his case before the big championship match.

Imperium must then appear and surround the ring before attacking the superstar at the instructions of WALTER. The angle will allow the championship match to get more spotlight from the WWE Universe.

The David vs. Goliath booking could end up being the best contest of TakeOver 36. The two men had torn up the ring on NXT UK in October 2020, and they could give an even better performance on TakeOver.
