Finn Balor made an impact on WWE SmackDown a couple of weeks ago. The Prince made his way back to the Blue brand after a successful run on WWE NXT. He defeated Sami Zayn on his return to the SmackDown ring last week.

Later in the night, Balor confronted Universal Champion Roman Reigns after he rejected John Cena’s challenge. The Prince challenged Reigns to a Universal Championship match, and the champion accepted without much hesitation.

It isn’t clear yet when the match between the two WWE Superstars will take place. However, WWE must allow the two men to meet in the ring this week as part of a six-man tag team match.

Balor must team up with Rey and Dominik Mysterio to take on Reigns and The Usos on this week’s SmackDown. The angle could allow The Mysterios to get another shot at the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at SummerSlam while building a better storyline between Balor and Reigns.

Balor could end up pinning one of The Usos to win the match for his team to gain more momentum.
