At WWE NXT TakeOver 31, Kyle O’Reilly had an epic match against Finn Balor for the NXT Championship. After the match, Ridge Holland arrived with a beaten up Adam Cole over his shoulder and deposited him at ringside.
A couple of weeks ago, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch challenged Breezango for the NXT Tag Team Championships. Lorcan and Burch had replaced Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish in the match after the two men were attacked by someone backstage. All four WWE Superstars had a great match before a man in a mask arrived to help Lorcan and Burch defeat Breezango to become the new Champions.

The masked man revealed himself to be Pat McAfee, and he took credit for hiring Holland to attack Cole at NXT TakeOver 31. Last week, Pete Dunne returned on NXT to stand beside O’Reilly in his faceoff against McAfee, Lorcan, and Burch. However, Dunne betrayed O’Reilly to align himself with McAfee and the NXT Tag Team Champions.
This week, The Undisputed ERA could attack McAfee and his new faction to send a message to the four men and look to regain their dominance over NXT.
This will allow WWE to build a massive rivalry between Undisputed ERA and McAfee’s new faction that has come out to try and dismantle the multi-time Champions.
This could be Undisputed ERA’s biggest chance to turn face, and it will allow the brand to turn the faction around and build a new storyline for TakeOver: WarGames.
