While Tommaso Ciampa has been out of WWE storylines for some time now, it seems like he finally has his eyes set on his next target. Timothy Thatcher has felt Ciampa’s presence during his recent matches, and he lost his match against KUSHIDA last week because Ciampa caused a distraction.
Thatcher will likely not be happy with this loss, and he may look to exact revenge on Ciampa. Fans could see Thatcher walk out to the middle this week and defeat an enhancement talent quickly in order to get him back on track. Then, he should call out "The Blackheart" and challenge him to a fight at WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames.

The WWE Universe hasn’t seen Ciampa perform at a TakeOver event since his loss to Karrion Kross at WWE NXT TakeOver: In Your House in June. Thatcher needs to take down some big fishes in NXT to get ahead, as he hasn’t managed to make an impressive impact since his initial run with Riddle. Ciampa, on the other hand, needs to be brought back into the spotlight to increase the quality of NXT’s shows. If these two competitors keep working together, the NXT veteran could end up giving Thatcher a great rivalry in the months to come.
