Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode won the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships from The Street Profits in early January 2021. Before their victory, The Street Profits were having a great run with the titles after they exchanged them with the RAW Tag Team titles.

Ziggler and Roode are two of the best wrestlers in WWE, but they haven’t been given a chance to defend their titles on SmackDown yet. This has made their reign largely forgettable, even though they’ve held the titles for almost two months.

Last week on SmackDown, Street Profits defeated King Corbin and Sami Zayn. Their victory proved that they are the premier tag team on the brand. SmackDown does not have too many established tag teams at the moment, and WWE must allow Street Profits to rise to the top once again.

The Street Profits must be allowed to dominate their opponents this week again and then challenge the SmackDown Tag Team Champions for the title.

With Fastlane and WrestleMania 37 coming up, WWE creatives need to work on building the tag team scene of the Blue brand to make it more exciting.
