The New Day came out to mock The Hurt Business during last week’s WWE RAW and counted the times they’d already defeated Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin. This insult did not go down well with MVP and his men, and Alexander demanded a match against Xavier Woods.

Alexander then defeated one-half of the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions cleanly. With the win, he earned The Hurt Business some respect. But he surprisingly walked out on his own, leaving MVP and Benjamin looking on in surprise.

This week, we will could see MVP and his men again boast about Alexander’s victory over Woods. WWE must allow Alexander to take the lead here. He should challenge The New Day to a final WWE RAW Tag Team Championship match at the WWE TLC pay-per-view.

Alexander taking the lead, despite being the most inexperienced man in the faction, is a nice touch that WWE RAW seems to have added to this storyline. The dynamic should continue to play out this week.

Alexander challenging the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions on behalf of The Hurt Business could help him gain more prominence. It would also allow him to show his aggressive side as someone who's looking to earn more gold for the faction on his own.
