Ciampa, who wasn’t going to wait long for William Regal to announce Adam Cole’s next challenger for the NXT Championship, then brought a table to the middle of the ring and spray painted an X on it.
This brought out Cole who wanted to exact revenge on The Blackheart. Regal too came out with the NXT Championship contract for NXT TakeOver: Portland, handing it to Cole to take into the ring.
As Cole entered the ring, Ciampa power bombed him through the table and then signed his name in blood on the contract to show how much Goldie means to him.
This was a stunning segment to set up the next big fight between the two men and the possible fall of the Undisputed Era on NXT. Ciampa signing his name in blood could signify that a stipulation may be added to the match somewhere down the line, or it will be extremely physical.
The match between these two top stars will be a treat for the fans, and the winner could go all the way to WrestleMania 36 with the title.
