#2 Aiden English will cost Russev the WWE Championship

Enter — Can Rusev finally get the big one?

For the first time in his WWE career, Rusev will have a WWE Championship match, and while I feel he should win the match, as Styles' reign has grown stale and the WWE Championship needs some fresh blood. I feel Rusev will fall just short of winning the belt, and that will be thanks to Aiden English.

I was more confident about this prediction after Rusev didn't help English up after Styles punched him after Rusev won the Gauntlet Match.

However, after this past Smackdown, where Rusev beatdown Styles in heel fashion, I'm not as sure as I previously was.

Rusev seems to go between heel and face on a weekly basis. At Extreme Rules though, I see Rusev wanting to win the title his way, and that means English NOT getting involved. I don't think English will listen though.

Whether it is intentional or not, English will cost Rusev the title match at Extreme Rules, which will finally turn Rusev babyface once and for all, and will give him direction coming out of Extreme Rules and heading into SummerSlam with a feud with his former best friend.
