5 Things you probably didn’t know about Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch’s relationship

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch have had legendary careers in WWE. The Visionary is a former World Heavyweight Champion and a megastar on RAW, while The Man is a multi-time women's champion in WWE and is currently on hiatus after her contract with the company expired. She is expected to return soon.

At the same time, they are considered one of the most beloved couples of WWE. They got married on June 29, 2021, and have a daughter together. Amid rumors about Becky Lynch's return to the company, we take a look at five things that fans might not know about the two superstars' relationship.

#5. Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins' on-screen collaboration didn't work well

WWE has barely used Becky and Seth as an on-screen duo. They did that once as part of their rivalry with Lacey Evans and Baron Corbin, but after a while, they seemingly abandoned the storyline.

Speaking on Sports Media with Richard Deitsch, The Visionary said that their on-screen characters didn't bond well.

"We tried to make the best of it, but I don’t think either of us were terribly comfortable with it. Even though we have incredible chemistry as people, as performers, our characters never really vibed on-screen," Rollins said. [H/T Sportster]

#4. Becky Lynch initially didn't want to get into a new relationship

By the time they started dating, Becky Lynch was coming off a breakup with former UFC fighter Luke Sanders. Following their breakup, The Man wanted to take time off and stay single for a while.

However, things changed when she started dating Seth Rollins and quickly got into a new relationship. The star opened up about how she was a bit apprehensive at first but later when things got real, she decided to give the relationship with Rollins a try.

#3. They started dating in January 2019

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins were friends for years before they started dating. They said that they initially hadn't thought about starting dating, but after their respective breakup from their partners (Luke Sanders and Zahra Schreiber), they started spending more time together.

After a few weeks when they were flirting, they started dating in January 2019 and became a couple soon after that. Rollins appeared on The Pivot Podcast and revealed that he wanted to marry Becky Lynch soon after they started dating.

#2. Seth Rollins didn't want to have kids at first

A year after they became a couple, Becky Lynch announced that she had to vacate her Women's Championship, as she was pregnant and had to leave the company for a while.

For his part, Seth Rollins had revealed that he initially didn't want to have kids. Speaking on The Pivot Podcast, the former World Heavyweight Champion said that the reason was the lack of time he had because of his job.

"As athletes or entertainers, there is so much of your kid's infancy that you end up missing because you're working. And that s*cks, dude. I watch guys in our industry do it for years. Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins were apparently flirting for a while before starting dating in January 2019. However, it wasn't until late in the month that they had their first kiss.

In an episode of Biography: WWE Legends, The Man revealed that they had their first kiss at the Royal Rumble weekend.

"I met Colby Lopez my first time on the road. We were on separate shows and we didn’t see each other that often but I always looked forward to seeing him. We started talking and hanging out a little bit more, just talking [and] flirting a little bit more. The first time we kissed was Royal Rumble weekend. He had been flirting with me so much.
