5 Things that could realistically happen in WWE before 2022

#1 WWE separates AJ Styles and Omos

Nowadays, lasting almost an entire year as allies in WWE is somewhat of a remarkable achievement. AJ Styles and Omos formed an alliance back in October 2020, and they have stayed together ever since.

With that being said, it would be a surprise to see the gigantic Omos stay by Styles’ side much longer. The two men lost the RAW Tag Team Championship to RK-Bro at SummerSlam, and there is seemingly nothing left for them to achieve as a tag team.

When it comes to singles competition, Omos has not exactly helped Styles in recent months. The Phenomenal One has lost 11 of his last 14 televised singles matches, including a hard-fought defeat against Randy Orton on the latest episode of WWE RAW.

If Styles is ever going to be viewed as a world championship contender again, he would likely fare better alone. Similarly, if WWE wants Omos to reach the next level as a singles competitor, separating him from Styles is the right thing to do because it would let him stand on his own.

WWE usually splits up several tag teams in the annual draft in October. Even if Styles and Omos stay together after the roster changes, there is a good chance they could still go their separate ways by 2022.
