#3 Roman Reigns has headlined four consecutive WrestleManias

Roman Reigns was pushed to the moon immediately after the implosion of The Shield in mid-2014. He took on WWE veteran Randy Orton at SummerSlam 2014 and defeated him in the biggest victory of his career at the time. On the same night, Brock Lesnar mauled John Cena to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and fans knew that a major clash was on the horizon.

At WrestleMania 31 in 2015, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar squared off for the title in the main event. Seth Rollins' unexpected cash-in at the last moment foiled Reigns' plan to leave the stadium with his hand held high. A year later, Roman Reigns defeated Triple H in the main event of WrestleMania 32 to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?

In 2017, Roman Reigns defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania and became the second man to ever do so. He would go on to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 34 in 2018 in a losing effort. Reigns then faced Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 35, so his four-year WrestleMania headlining streak came to an end.

John Cena has headlined several WrestleManias as well, but when it comes to consecutive events, Cena comes one short of The Tribal Chief. Cena faced The Miz at WrestleMania 27 in 2011 and failed to capture the WWE title, due to some interference by The Rock. Cena then faced The Rock twice in a row over the next two years at WrestleMania, with the megastars trading wins over each other.
