Roman Reigns relinquished the Universal Championship to pursue his courageous battle with Leukemia, the championship he won after pinning Brock Lesnar for the first time in their rivalry. This has resulted in a one-on-one match between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman.

In the recent few weeks, Braun Strowman has been involved in a feud with Drew McIntyre. The rivalry looks intense and appears to be something that WWE will be willing to elongate further. Notably, the Scottish Superstar also doesn’t have a match on Crown Jewel.

Hence, it is quite possible that he decides to take the matters into his own hands and attack both the competitors in this match. Not only will this help WWE to protect Brock Lesnar from losing in a clean pinfall, but will also protect WWE itself from having a part-time Universal Champion.
