#1 RETRIBUTION will get involved in the WWE Championship match

What chaos will Retribution cause this Sunday?

There is no way around it: WWE booked RETRIBUTION terribly on RAW this week. Not only did they take a loss to the Hurt Business in which T-Bar tapped out, but each member of the group got destroyed by the Fiend.

The promo by Ali later in the night, where he revealed that he was indeed the SmackDown Hacker, slowed the bleeding a bit, but the damage was already done. They need to do something big to regain some momentum, and what better way to do that than to cause chaos in the WWE Championship match?

Ever since their debut on the main roster during the summer, RETRIBUTION has done nothing but cause chaos. Hell in a Cell is the perfect breeding ground for them. They can cause all of the chaos they want and there would be nothing anyone can do about it.

They have torn apart rings and set fires outside of the WWE Performance Center before, so imagine what they can do inside the confines of one of WWE's most brutal structures. After all, it isn't called the Devil's Playground for nothing.

It is also key to point out that RETRIBUTION and Drew McIntyre have had some interactions in the past. While RETRIBUTION haven’t targeted McIntyre directly, they have interfered with some of his matches and have brawled with the WWE Champion. Could they cross paths with McIntyre again this Sunday?

McIntyre has been so impressive as WWE Champion that if WWE doesn’t want to end his reign via pinfall or submission, then a chaotic finish would be the next best option.

This feels even more evident when you look back and realize that McIntyre has only taken one pinfall loss since last year, and that was to Orton in tag team action a few weeks ago.

McIntyre also won at SummerSlam without using his finisher and won at Clash of Champions in a stipulation match that would have been a perfect time for him to lose while looking strong. So, WWE has been adamant about making McIntyre look strong and making it a big deal when he finally does lose.

Just as McIntyre is about to hit the Claymore Kick to win, the lights could go out before RETRIBUTION appear inside the Cell to attack McIntyre. They can even attack Orton as well.

The Hurt Business could then come out and chase off RETRIBUTION. While this happens, Orton would recover quick enough to pick up the victory and become WWE Champion.

With this scenario, RETRIBUTION gains back all of the momentum they lost on RAW, McIntyre loses the WWE Championship but looks strong in doing so, and you have your traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag match set up.
