An inevitable implosion?

If you were to ask yourself which member of The New Day would benefit the most from splitting, the answer would probably be Kofi Kingston, now that he's become WWE champion. However, that's not actually true.

The New Day played an integral role in Kofi Kingston's rise to the top and the reality is that if they were to split, Big E would undoubtedly be the biggest beneficiary. PWTorch reported that prior to Roman Reigns, Vince McMahon had his eyes on pushing Big E to the moon, until Triple H convinced him that Reigns was the guy to build the company around.

However, Big E has huge potential as a singles star and The New Day are now 4.5 years into their run as a group, the longest in WWE history.

There's a high chance that the celebration could end with Big E turning on Kofi Kingston.
