Just like Brock Lesnar helped Seth Rollins become a big babyface on RAW last year, he did the same for Drew McIntyre this year. McIntyre’s newfound energy and determination have come as a babyface, but it’s nearly impossible to build the Superstar as an underdog against any opponent.

With that in mind, WWE has tried to keep McIntyre down by putting more men up against him in the form of Andrade, Angel Garza, and Austin Theory. Apart from that, Rollins too has played his part in this storyline.

However, WWE needs to ensure that fans remember the power and ruthlessness of McIntyre, and remember that he did slay The Beast with a lot of dominance after the first few initial blows.

With the same attitude, we could watch McIntyre once again escape from any attacks planned by The Messiah and instead plant him with a Claymore Kick to send a loud and clear message to anyone doubting his abilities.
