#2 A clash of egos between Bray Wyatt and The Fiend
One of the most interesting things to note in this match at Money in the Bank is that Bray Wyatt and not The Fiend, is facing Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship. The last time we saw him wrestle was at TLC last year where he defeated The Miz.
One thing that has been made clear is that The Fiend is far more powerful than Bray Wyatt himself. Why else would he take revenge from those who have hurt Bray? But won't it be somewhat weird if Bray himself ends up defeating a major opponent like Braun Strowman?
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
Bray and The Fiend are two separate entities, even though they are portrayed by the same person. If Bray could himself defeat his opponents, why would he need his sadistic alter ego? Moreover, that could lead to some clash among the two of them!
Rambling Rabbit has time and again tried to expose the weakness of The Fiend, and maybe what he wanted to reveal was that The Fiend lives off the fear of Bray Wyatt. If Wyatt himself starts dealing with his opponents, he might just free himself from The Fiend.
At least the seeds of the same can be sown if Bray defeats Braun Strowman at Money in the Bank.
