Originally, Roman Reigns was going to face The Fiend for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36. But the plans changed for reasons we don't know about.

But then once again, WWE had to change their plans at the last minute as The Big Dog pulled out of the match due to the prevailing conditions and concern over his health. They replaced Reigns with Braun Strowman and The Monster Among Men dethroned Goldberg.

If Bray Wyatt wins the Universal Championship at Money in the Bank, it opens up several possibilities. One of them is the return of Roman Reigns. When The Big Dog comes back, he can lay another challenge for the title. This is a title that he did not lose in the first place.
