5 things that could happen on the weekly shows following Elimination Chamber

Thank you Kofi
Thank you Kofi

Every wrestler has its day, and let's face it, Kofi Kingston was the highlight of Elimination Chamber. The performance that the high-flyer put forth during the WWE Championship match at the show had everyone talking.

After serving as a replacement to an up-and-coming wrestler, Mustafa Ali, Kofi stole the show with his high flying moves and the amazing performance inside the steel structure that tested every performer.

The durability of the high-flyer wasn't the only thing that took the cake this week, because Sonya Deville would have to answer for her actions in the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match where she accidentally hit Mandy Rose.

Along with the aforementioned, the attack by The Man was also the talk of the town, as she walked on crutches and took out her replacement in the Wrestlemania match, Charlotte Flair and the Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey.

With the way things panned out at Elimination Chamber these are things that could happen on weekly shows:

#5 Vince McMahon fines Becky Lynch and sets the #1 contender match at Fastlane

Who's The Man Now?
Who's The Man Now?

Vince McMahon set up this entire storyline, and let's face it, he did infuriate The Man by suspending her for 60 days, as well as replace her with The Queen. It was already speculated that Becky Lynch would be on the show in some capacity, and while the havoc was already destined to happen, Vince wouldn't take these actions kindly.

He could fine The Man, and when Becky responds with paying off the charges, she would humiliate The Chairman in a manner that would irate him.

This way he could try to make Becky's life hell, and we all know that this segment has success and entertainment written all over it. There are various other things that can happen in this storyline that shall be seen in weeks to come.

#4 The bonds are broken

Frenemies

The show also saw some friendships being thrown away, and while it just seems to be the beginning, there will be a lot that will happen down the line, as The Miz and Shane McMahon will collide with each other in due course of time.

Also, we did see Sonya Deville accidentally hit Mandy Rose during the show which confirms that these performers will have a storyline down the line. A fight between them would be good because the Must-See wrestler knows how to bring out the best out of his opponents and, so does Shane.

The Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville story will see these two picking sides, especially after Sonya shared her disagreement with Mandy's actions on Naomi and Jimmy Uso on Smackdown a month ago.

While the latter requires a push, the former story has some of the most talented wrestlers, and we will witness something amazing as WrestleMania draws close.

#3 Kofi Kingston gets the title opportunity

Well Done Kofi
Well Done Kofi

Kofi Kingston put forth a performance that was the talk of the town after Elimination Chamber ended. The high-flyer got more attention and fan chants as the show went off-air. We have seen Kofi's amazing work in the Royal Rumble, and the wrestler continued his amazing run inside the demonic structure as well.

It must be noted that Kofi has not been a part of a WWE Championship match for a long time, but this inclusion and performance has definitely given the fans something to cheer about. The work done by Kofi kept everyone on the edge of their seats, and I for one believe that the high-flyer has no looking back.

This match has helped him become a part of the WWE Championship storyline, and he will continue to be a part of the matches for the title in due course of time.

#2 Ruby Riott hunts the Raw Women's Champion

Riot it out
Riot it out

The Raw Women's Champion pinned Ruby Riott in a squash match, and let's be honest about it, Ruby doesn't deserve it. She is a fierce competitor and knows a lot about wrestling. Her match at WWE Elimination Chamber wasn't built well, and so there was no hype or talk about it at all.

This resulted in the company making it a squash match where Ronda Rousey made Ruby Riot submitt in a matter of moments. This match didn't work well for the Champion or the Championship as the current champion looked to be working in simple and un-impressive matches.

After suffering a loss, Ruby would be irate, and she would do everything in her power to get another shot at the coveted championship. This would make way for another match between them at Fastlane, while Becky would earn her spot for Wrestlemania on the same show.

#1 Women's Tag Teams Collide

Title up for grabs
Title up for grabs

You can't deny that the Women of the WWE put forth a commendable performance inside the structure and despite all the odds stacked against them, Sasha Banks and Bayley became the Women's Tag Team Champions of the new era.

These two had some mundane storylines in the past, but it seems like they will have some of the best matches in the history of the women's division as they now work as co-besties and your new Women's Tag Team Champions. Their work will provide more depth and energy to the WWE Universe, as the champions will leave no stone unturned to make this championship great.

A good opponent will really raise the stakes of the division, and at this juncture, no one seems better than Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka. However, there are various other unlikely tag teams that could step to the plate and go for the coveted gold. After all a match, that not only entertains fans but also puts the right wrestlers over will be Best For Business.
