#2 Wacky persona
We don’t want Ambrose to be wacky anymore. Like, at all. The guy does some funny skits here and there that make us laugh, but all in all, it just makes his character feel like a bit of a joke. That wouldn’t bother us too much if he felt like a threat in the process, but his intimidation factor has dropped dramatically in the last few years.
He needs to revert to an edgier and more serious version of himself because that’s the Dean Ambrose that is going to thrive at the highest level consistently. That’s also the Dean Ambrose that was put on the map courtesy of fascinating feuds with William Regal, Seth Rollins and to an extent Mick Foley down in FCW.
