The last two months in the WWE, Seth Rollins, and Dolph Ziggler have been entangled in a rivalry over the Intercontinental Championship. This all began when Dolph Ziggler defeated Rollins for the title back in June. The flagship show has completely been dominated by encounters between The King Slayer and The Showoff, which is leading a match between the two of them at the biggest party of the summer.

Ever since Rollins lost the belt, the Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge has been extremely craved, and if Rollins wins this Sunday, the IC Challenge will make it's way back to Monday Night Raw. Furthermore, Rollins needs to win the title because Dolph Ziggler is not that popular with the crowd as he used to be. Few people cheer for him and few boo him. This shows the lack of attention in a champion which is hurting the glory of the IC Championship.
