Andrade and Styles should battle as the final two

Last year’s Super ShowDown saw the company schedule a 51-Man Battle Royal for the event that was won by NXT’s Mansoor.

This year, the company has scheduled another gimmick match for the event in the form of a six-man gauntlet match for the first-ever Tuwaiq Trophy. Announced on the February 10 episode of Raw, the match will be between United States Champion Andrade, Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles, Erick Rowan, Rusev, and Rusev.

The match is filled with some of the best Superstars from RAW, as Andrade is on the rise while Rusev and Bobby Lashley are trying to make their mark on the brand and become one of the big players.

With such high stakes, it seems like WWE will use this match to build on a future contender for the WWE Champion. With that in mind, it seems like AJ Styles must win the match in order to progress on the red brand. Styles was getting into an interesting rivalry with Randy Orton but an injury forced him to take some time off which allowed Orton to start a rivalry with Edge.

Now that The Phenomenal One is free to move up the ranks once again, he could prove to be a great opponent for Brock Lesnar heading until WrestleMania 36 and he should get his push with a win in this match.
