#4 Use of fighting champions

Vince McMahon is doing some pretty masterful storytelling with Seth Rollins.

The WWE Universe has wanted a fighting champion for a long time now and WWE finally responded to that request by having Seth Rollins defeat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35. Not only did this give fans a full-time fighting champion and a few dream matches along the way, but it also removed Lesnar from the title picture due to the no automatic rematch clause.

Of course, Lesnar got his revenge at Money in the Bank by winning the briefcase, but at least he is no longer holding a title hostage. Beyond that, WWE's use of Lesnar as a champion stalking prizefighter is a great development in The Beast's character and should lead to some interesting scenarios in the future.

In all honesty, Seth Rollins has been booked perfectly as a fighting champion so far and the WWE Universe seems to be responding very positively to it. Maybe Seth Rollins' run as champion won't last much longer, and maybe it could, but one has to admit that McMahon is at least trying to take constructive criticism and do something with it!
