Bray Wyatt is set to defend his WWE Championship against Goldberg at WWE Super ShowDown in what would be the latter’s first single’s match with The Fiend. The WWE Hall of Famer arrived on the Blue brand and was immediately challenged by Wyatt who was just searching for another friend in the Firefly Fun House.

On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Goldberg was confronted by The Fiend. However, unlike the previous encounters of WWE’s biggest creation in modern-day wrestling, The Fiend could not get better off of Goldberg. Instead, he was taken down by a spear and he disappeared from the ring shortly after that.

Although Goldberg has had an upper hand in the build-up to this match, he shouldn’t be the one to defeat The Fiend and end his title reign. Instead, The Fiend should do what he does best and must retain his title against the legend to add another feather to his cap. Moreover, a second Universal Championship reign for Goldberg isn’t the best option given his recent in-ring performances.
