Nobody was even the least bit interested in this match
Jinder Mahal vs Roman Reigns was a match that featured on the main show because of the sheer fact that Reigns was in it. The feud had no reason for anybody to be excited about the match.

The match really wasn't half bad, but because of either predictable results or the crowd that didn't even give the match or chance, the match just blew.
During the match, the crowd was heard chanting "CM Punk", "boring", "NXT", "Rusev Day" and "this is awful" among other chants. It's like WWE can't negotiate with the crowd when it comes to Roman Reigns and nobody but the company is to blame for this. Reigns can be the future of WWE but the time for the future isn't now.

The reaction of the crowd shouldn't have come as a surprise to anyone. WWE could have actually dodged a bullet by exchanging this match with the SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles match.
That match wouldn't have gotten as bad as a reaction as this match did. WWE need to really think out of the box when it comes to Roman Reigns because his image and character are both deep in a ditch with no sign of coming out.

Kishan is a WWE writer at Sportskeeda Wrestling and has been associated with the division for 8.5 years. Even though he doesn't work at Sportskeeda on a full-time basis, writing about wrestling keeps his passion for the sport alive. He reports on important updates from wrestlers and rumors from trustworthy sources.
Kishan recalls the best match he witnessed when he was just 6 – the Hell in a Cell Match at Armageddon 2000. Watching the six men push each other to their limits and then some made him realize how incredible pro wrestling is.
He graduated as a Chemical Engineer a few years before he began his journey with Sportskeeda. A couple of years as a non-contracted writer for the website became a full-time opportunity that included managing the pro wrestling division.
Kishan's favorite wrestler is Triple H, as he can pull him into any storyline. In today's era, one can call him a Seth "Freakin" Rollins fan for the same reason. When he is not writing for Sportskeeda, Kishan works as a digital marketing professional.
