#1 Braun Strowman winning the Men's MITB Briefcase

Not many expected Braun Strowman to win the MITB Briefcase at the PPV. Among all the Superstars that competed in the match, Strowman is easily the most over with the fans. The role a MITB briefcase plays is that it almost instantaneously projects the winner into the main title scene. There were many competitors who needed that win more than Strowman.

Strowman and The Miz were the two Superstars who needed this win the least because they're stars who will always be the main attraction of a show and will have title reigns in the near future. Superstars such as Kevin Owens, Roode, Balor and Rusev needed this win to push themselves into the main event picture and get themselves the limelight they rightfully deserve.
